Tai Feng Wei’s founder, Mike, first joined the F&B industry in 2003 with a fiery passion for cooking and a love for eating. Over the course of his career, he amassed a wealth of experience working at a variety of restaurants. At his peak, Mike held a position as an Executive Head Chef with 100 chefs under his leadership. 

As a loving father: Mike realised that just like how a good father communicates with his children in a joyful manner, he must strive to nurture positive human emotions in his interactions towards others at work. By playing his part in spreading joy to the lives of his employees and customers alike, Mike hopes to become the best role model he can be for his family. 

Knowing firsthand the challenges every chef has to go through: high pressure environments and harsh superiors — Mike resolved to create a happy working environment where Tai Feng Wei’s employees could feel appreciated, enjoy what they do and provide a comfortable life for their families.
